.“My Lovely Creature” is a story from the point of view of Creature who has Autism, referring mostly to Asperger’s syndrome/HFA. It’s a tale of the process through Creature’s childhood and adolescence, and how they managed life through its tribulations as a neurodivergent. The eyes are the emotive guide through the story, letting the reader determine their meaning. The premise is that Creature is raised by their Mom, and that they are relatable to other kids in what they do that makes them unique from a “neurotypical” person.
